March Equinox

The March Equinox is happening this Wednesday, March 20 at 4:58 pm. The March equinox marks the moment the Sun crosses the celestial equator – the imaginary line in the sky above the Earth’s equator – from south to north. This happens on March 19, 20, or 21 every year. It marks the first day of Spring. Day and night both become 12 hours long. It is celebrated all around the world.
