Before you eat all the delicious home cooked food on Thanksgiving, join over 7,000 in running or walking one of Springfield’s biggest 5K’s!
The 24th annual Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd, and will start at 8 am. Runners and walkers should meet at the Springfield Expo Center, 635 E. St. Louis St., Downtown Springfield, at 7:30 am.
Early Bird registration is going on now until November 16th and is $20 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under. After November 16th, registration raises to $30 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under. Registration includes admission to the race, a long sleeve t-shirt, and a race bib with a timing device.
Packet pickup will be held Wednesday, November 21st from 8am-5:30pm, and race day 6-7:15 am.
Ozarks Food Harvest is asking that all runners bring in five nonperishable food items to packet pick up so that they can give back this Thanksgiving.
