Hoodie Hoo All Your Blues Away!
On February 20th, step outside and shout “Hoodie Hoo” to chase the winter blues away! Created in the late 1980s by holiday-extraordinaire Thomas Roy, Hoodie Hoo Day is designed to make the whole world laugh. Simply walk outside at 12:00 p.m. on February 20th, raise your arms above your head and yell “Hoodie Hoo!”
Roy suggests that to add to the spectacle, wear crazy hats while outside and stand on a piece of used furniture purchased from a local flea market.
In all seriousness, Hoodie Hoo Day comes at a great time in the winter season. At the beginning of February, Punxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter, and that’s a lot of cold, dreary days for anybody. So, go ahead! Step outside on February 20th…
And let the whole world know that you’re not letting the winter blues get you with a loud “Hoodie Hoo!”
